Description

With a multitude of fans around the world, the 2023 Duotone Wam SLS is one of the most popular boards on the market. It is the performance all-rounder that is at home in nearly all conditions.

With its curvy rocker and outline coupled with high-performance rails, the WAM is designed for radical top to bottom surfing in a wide range of conditions. The Wam SLS excels in small onshore waves to pumping down-the-line surf. The shape features a squashed thumb tail with a thruster set up, and the midpoint is moved a little further forward. This helps create lots of drive through the turns and makes the Wam SLS easy to gybe and even easier to transition between carves on the wave.

The WAM SLS is fast, lively, and agile and offers a dynamic and exciting ride no matter the conditions.

Tech Features

LIGHT TEAM CONSTRUCTION

  • We are using a more labor intensive, multi-step vacuum bag process that yields a super strong, lightweight board with a custom, hand sanded finish
  • The most substantial change to the light team construction, is that we no longer use a full bamboo sandwich
  • The cork shock absorber, which used to be concealed under the bamboo sandwich, is now clearly visible under the deck skin and allows the deck to flex and absorb shock like a custom PU board with minimal to no heel denting, thanks to the underlying reinforcements and the remarkable memory properties of cork
  • Pure surf board feel in an ultra light but durable construction

  • Grab Rails for easier freestyle tricks, durability and comfortable general riding

INNEGRA SLS SURFBOARD

  • Innegra is the reason for the predictable feel of a polyurethane surfboard, combined with liveliness, durability, dent resistance and incredible light weight
  • The weight reduction was achieved by replacing fiberglass with Innegra

CORK SHOCK ABSORBER 2.0

  • Cork offers excellent absorption characteristics and reforms entirely without leaving any visible dents in contrast to PVC
